When creating my artworks, I like to mix unrelated objects together because it creates humor and I like to think about how it might confuse viewers. I have a habit of using mixed media in most of my artworks. For example, I used colored pencils, acrylic paint, watercolor, ink, and markers in Pinkterfly. Colored pencils have been the main media I use since it helps me create realistic values, small details, and rich colors. My artworks consistently use contrasting, intense, pure colors which helps me bring out a cheerful and happy tone. I am excited to see how realistic I can get with my artwork and how much more I can improve on it in the future.
