“Pieces of the Poet is a collective body of work, narrating my perceptions of memory and time.  Each piece a physically manifested engram.

The body of work as a whole is deeply rooted in and reflected in my creative heritage; being brought up in a household of tactile practices taught to me by my parents. Each morsel of work exhibited, rich in the impact those core memories and teachings have been woven into my creative process.

It is my aim with this work shown, to engage the viewers in challenging their own imprints of memories and what those might look like if brought into physical form; how to use such content as a palette for future use rather than leave it dwelling in from whence it came.”
