The Ontario Museum of History & Art announces the Ontario Art Block Party on Saturday, June 27, from 5 AM – 8 PM. This free one-day event celebrates the biennial joint exhibition Community as Canvas in partnership with the Ontario Museum of History & Art and the Chaffey Community Museum of Art. Community as Canvas explores the relationships between artist, place, and community.

Neighborhood Zines with Jacqueline Valenzuela 
This hands-on art activity invites people to reflect on memories, identity and sense of community.  

 

 

Art Cans: Generational Resourcefulness with Willis Garcia-Salomon  
This hands-on art activity reflects on generational and BIPOC experiences of resourcefulness and the cultural practice of “making do with what you have”. This activity challenges participants to reimagine 2-Dimensional images of food cans as other functional objects.  

 

 

Latin Dance Experience with JustUs Entertainment  
This activity invites all to participate in beginner-level Latin dance instruction on the dancefloor located on the Museum plaza. 

 

 

Old-School Photobooth with Gilbert G Photography  
Bring your friends, family or just yourself for a quick portrait session with photographer Gilbert G at the Old-School Photobooth featuring airbrushed backdrops. Receive free prints of your photos to take home and cherish. 

 

 

Community Arts Organization Booths 
Explore community arts organization booths from across the Pomona Valley and Inland Empire. Learn about upcoming art open calls and participate in hands-on art making activities.
