2026 Ontario Art Expo: Celebrating Community Artists
The 2026 Ontario Art Expo: Celebrating Community Artists is a juried exhibition open to all active members of the Pomona Valley Art Association (PVAA), Associated Artists of the Inland empire (AAIE) and members of the Chaffey Community Museum of Art (CCMA). The exhibition runs from August 7 to October 18, 2026 and will present a diverse high-quality selection of artwork to showcase our region’s visual artists.
This is the second time that all three regional artists’ organizations will be united in a single exhibition, which will be hosted in CCMA’s Main Gallery. Entries must be submitted online through a portal in CCMA’s website between June 1 and July 1; more information will be available as the application period nears.
Call For Entries
The Chaffey Community Museum of Art (CCMA) is seeking artists active in all media to participate in the 2026 Ontario Art Expo: Celebrating Community Artists to be held August 7 to October 18, 2026 in the Main Gallery at CCMA. This juried exhibition is open to all active members of the Pomona Valley Art Association (PVAA), Associated Artists of the Inland Empire (AAIE) and members of CCMA. The exhibition will present a diverse, high-quality selection of artwork to showcase our region’s visual artists.
Work in all media, including 3D art will be accepted for consideration. Artists may enter one work of art. 2D art must not exceed 36 inches wide.
Eligibility:
Artists 18 years of age and older are eligible and must be a member of at least one of the three participating organizations.

2D art must not exceed 36 inches wide including frame and must be framed using CCMA museum standards when presented for take-in. Framing standards are described in the application instructions.
Artists may submit only one work of art for consideration. 3D works of art are encouraged.
How to Apply:
Entries will only be accepted via online application (www.chaffeymuseum.org) beginning June 1 and closing July 1 at 5 PM. Winners will be notified between July 18 and July 20.
The application consists of an entry form, and a digital image (.jpg) of the submission.
There is a fee of $25 to enter.
Artists who are accepted for the exhibition will be notified between July 18 and July 20.
2D Artwork specifications:
Works must be framed and ready to hang, properly wired with D-rings. No sawtooth hangers or eye screws will be accepted. Quality frames must be in good condition without extra flaps on the back. Please include the following information with each artwork submitted:
Artwork Title, Year, Medium(s), Dimensions, Art Association membership.
Requirements Following Acceptance:
Artwork selected for the exhibition must be delivered to CCMA, 217 S. Lemon St., Ontario, CA. Following the exhibition, the artist is responsible for picking up artwork within two weeks or it will be deemed abandoned.
Artists must sign a CCMA loan agreement.
Other:
CCMA’s collection insurance covers loss of artwork while on exhibit.
All sales of exhibited works will be strictly negotiated between the artist and the buyer. The museum will facilitate contact if the artist grants access via email or phone. No fees will be collected by CCMA.

Drop off dates: July 24, 25, and 26 from 1 PM to 3 PM
Opening reception: Sunday Aug. 9, 2-4 PM
Pick up date: October 18, and Oct 23-25 between noon and 4 PM.
