I create art to express myself and share my interests. I am inspired by places in nature I have visited, mountains, forests, and oceans. Even while looking at a cloudy sky my imagination can conjure all kinds of interesting scenes. Reading fantasy and science fiction books has also nourished my imagination. In my artwork I create worlds and their stories. Sometimes in my art I reconcile or lament experiences from my past while forging a new future for myself. Other times my work presents a puzzle. Even I cannot always solve these puzzles, but if they could be solved and their mysteries overcome I’m certain great beauty would be found.
